📍 India
Toxic bosses are a daily complaint in Indian offices, but India has no single law against workplace bullying. The POSH Act, 2013 covers sexual harassment only (Bhatt & Joshi, updated May 2026). The Labour Ministry’s SAMADHAN portal takes industrial disputes and wage-type claims, not complaints about a boss’s behaviour (PIB, 25 Jul 2024). A Right to Disconnect Bill, 2025 was reported in Dec 2025 as a private member’s bill in the Lok Sabha; such bills rarely pass. We read 137 comments from 88 YouTube videos on toxic bosses. People split between quitting, not trusting HR and keeping proof, just coping, asking the Labour Ministry to step in, and exposing the boss in public. Where do you stand? Opinions only.
