Dhishuum is a global platform for public opinion. Ask a question about anything that affects people’s lives, back it with evidence, name who is responsible, and watch the world answer — live.
Every day, millions of people notice something that is wrong or worth debating: a road that has been broken for months, a water supply that keeps failing, a product that does not live up to its promise, a rule that nobody explained, a decision that affects a whole city or a whole country. Most of these observations go nowhere. They are complained about in a family WhatsApp group, posted once on social media where they sink within hours, or shouted at a television screen. The people who could act on them rarely see them, and when they do, there is no clear way to tell whether one angry voice speaks for ten people or ten million.
Opinion polls could answer that question, but traditional polls are run by a few organisations, on topics they choose, with samples that ordinary people cannot see or question. Social media can reach millions but rewards outrage over evidence, and a “like” count tells you almost nothing about what people actually think. We built Dhishuum to sit in the gap: a place where anyone can ask a clear question, attach the proof, and let people answer in a single click.
The name comes from the sound of a punch landing — dhishuum. The boxing glove in our logo is not about violence; it is about impact. A well-aimed question, backed by facts and put in front of enough people, can land harder than a thousand angry posts. Our belief is simple: when ordinary people can see, measure and share what they think, things change — potholes get fixed, services improve, leaders explain themselves, and companies listen.
Why take to the streets when you can drive change from your fingertips? A protest lasts a day and reaches the people standing nearby. A well-asked question, answered by thousands of real people and backed by evidence, stays visible — to the public, to the press and to the people in power — for as long as it matters. Dhishuum turns the energy of a protest into something calm, peaceful, measurable and impossible to ignore.
We are truly global. Our team works from different parts of the world, united by one goal: to drive positive change. Dhishuum is open to participants from every country. Questions, corrections or ideas? Write to rafinsight@gmail.com or use our Help & report a problem form.
